Connected Lab Specialist

Lead deployment, configuration, integration, and continuous improvement of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and lab data solutions at bp’s R&D labs, focusing on the new Bengaluru Technology Centre.

Gather and translate laboratory workflows, sample management, and data requirements into optimized processes and digital workflows.

Collaborate with lab automation, data specialists, vendors, and digital teams to deliver connected end-to-end lab solutions improving efficiency, compliance, and data quality.

Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering or related discipline.

Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in laboratory operations, business analysis, digital transformation, informatics, or a technical environment.

Experience in gathering, documenting, and managing business and user requirements; strong analytical and process mapping skills.

Experience working with scientific, laboratory, or enterprise data including understanding of data quality, governance, and regulatory data requirements.

Experienced in integrating LIMS with laboratory automation, robotics, and enterprise systems in a regulated or R&D environment.

Skilled at engaging multidisciplinary stakeholders including scientists, digital teams, and vendors for solution design and deployment.

Familiar with project management in software implementation and digital transformation initiatives with a focus on data-driven lab solutions.
