Software Development Engineer II (Frontend)

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality frontend user interface software for booking experiences across Expedia Group brands.

Translate product requirements into scalable technical solutions and contribute to system design, API design, and technical decisions supporting maintainable applications.

Collaborate across engineering, product, and design teams; integrate and operate AI/ML-enabled solutions to improve product and engineering outcomes.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

2+ years of professional software development experience including building and maintaining user interface applications.

Experience owning features/components throughout design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support phases.

Proficiency in frontend development, API integration, data modeling, version control, automated testing, debugging, and familiarity with low-level system design.

Experienced in delivering high-scale user interface products focusing on performance, accessibility, usability, and operational excellence.

Capable of data-driven technical decision-making and improving production application reliability and maintainability.

Skilled in collaborating across multiple services/domains and integrating AI/ML-enabled features within frontend applications.
