Operate and maintain Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters, including upgrades, scaling, and resource management to ensure platform reliability.
Onboard new applications by containerizing them, configuring deployments with Kubernetes manifests or Helm, and managing networking and monitoring setups.
Manage Azure infrastructure components (compute, networking, storage, security) and troubleshoot issues across applications, containers, Kubernetes, and Azure while automating operations with CI/CD and infrastructure provisioning.
Minimum Requirements
6 to 8 years of relevant hands-on experience in Azure cloud and Kubernetes environments.
Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure services, especially AKS, Azure Container Registry, virtual networks, load balancing, storage, and Azure Monitor.
Proficient with Kubernetes components such as deployments, services, ingress, secrets management, persistent storage, RBAC, and resource limits.
Experience with Docker, Linux networking, DNS, HTTP/TLS, Git, CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions), and scripting languages like Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Mid to senior engineer comfortable operating complex Azure Kubernetes environments and onboarding containerized applications at scale.
Strong troubleshooting aptitude with an analytical mindset to perform root-cause analysis and implement durable fixes under pressure.
Experience automating cloud operations and collaborating cross-functionally with development and security teams to maintain production readiness and platform reliability.
