Principal SSD Applications Engineer

Lead customer-facing SSD technical issue resolution from escalation to root cause analysis using Jira or equivalent systems.

Manage SSD product qualification, deployment, production ramp, sustaining support, and firmware release management including planning, documentation, and customer communications.

Own development and delivery of technical documentation, training, and coordination across engineering, quality, product management, and field teams to ensure successful SSD solution deployment and support.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.

At least 13 years of relevant experience in SSD technologies, firmware, hardware, applications, product, validation, or technical support fields.

Deep expertise in SSD architecture, NAND Flash, storage controllers, firmware, and storage technologies including NVMe, PCIe, SATA, SAS.

Proven experience leading complex customer escalations, issue replication, debugging, root cause analysis, failure analysis, and cross-functional coordination using Jira or equivalent.

Experienced technical leader with strong capabilities in managing end-to-end SSD product lifecycle from qualification to production ramp and post-deployment support in enterprise or hyperscale environments.

Proficient in translating complex technical issues into clear, actionable communications for diverse audiences including customers and internal stakeholders.

Skilled at driving cross-functional initiatives and improvements informed by customer feedback, including firmware release management, tooling support, documentation, and training delivery.
