Manage end-to-end procurement and sourcing of steel and iron & steel products for Visakhapatnam and surrounding markets.
Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules to ensure timely availability and cost-effective procurement.
Develop and maintain supplier relationships, monitor steel market trends, and provide procurement reports and recommendations to management.
Minimum Requirements
5–10 years of procurement/purchase experience in steel/iron & steel industry (mandatory).
Bachelor's degree in any relevant discipline; MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain/Procurement is advantageous.
Strong knowledge of Visakhapatnam/Andhra Pradesh steel market and existing supplier network preferred.
Experience in steel sourcing including manufacturers, distributors, dealers, stockists, and traders.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in independently handling steel sourcing, supplier identification, supplier negotiation, purchase orders, market analysis, and vendor management.
Has an established supplier network in Visakhapatnam and Andhra Pradesh steel industry.
Demonstrates strong commercial acumen with capability to improve margins through cost optimization and timely delivery coordination.
