Design, develop, and maintain secure, high-performance Windows desktop applications for NETGEAR’s security platform, including SASE, VPN, and ZTNA features.
Implement networking features such as VPN connectivity and secure tunneling using native Windows APIs and VPN protocols like IPSec or WireGuard.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and take end-to-end ownership of features ensuring high standards for security, usability, and performance.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
3–6 years of professional experience in Windows desktop application development (C#, .NET, Win32, WPF).
Hands-on experience with Windows networking APIs (e.g., WFP, WinINet) and VPN protocols (WireGuard, IPSec).
Experience with Windows application packaging, code signing, and deployment tools for enterprise/public distribution.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in system-level Windows security features including certificate-based authentication, Windows Hello/biometrics, and secure storage/encryption practices.
Proficient in writing modular, testable code with unit/integration tests using .NET test frameworks such as xUnit or NUnit, and contributing to CI/CD pipelines.
Comfortable working in agile, cross-functional teams integrating backend services and optimizing desktop application performance.
