Own and develop control algorithms for Battery Energy Storage Systems covering power management, charge/discharge scheduling, and grid interaction.
Lead design, simulation, validation (SIL, HIL), and deployment of control systems for utility-scale and commercial energy storage products.
Collaborate cross-functionally for system integration, support global factory/site acceptance tests, and ensure compliance with global grid codes and certifications.
Minimum Requirements
5–10 years of experience in control engineering for power electronics, grid-connected systems, or energy storage products.
Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Power Electronics, or related field.
Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink modeling, real-time or embedded control systems, and knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., CAN, Modbus).
Location requirement: Bengaluru, India.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience working in a large OEM or global product organization with exposure to multi-site development and global product deployments.
Strong system-level thinking with expertise in inverter-based power conversion systems, BMS/PCS/EMS coordinated controls, and grid code compliance.
Proven ability to operate within structured engineering and quality systems supporting high-reliability infrastructure products.
