Lead Software Engineer - pl/sql, SQL, Data Management

Lead and deliver secure, scalable software solutions including design, development, and troubleshooting across multiple technical areas supporting business objectives.

Develop and review high-quality production code while promoting enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational stability.

Drive evaluation of external vendors and technologies to ensure architectural and security compliance and lead efforts to automate remediation of recurring operational issues.

5+ years of applied software engineering experience with formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.

Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages relevant to the role (e.g., PL/SQL, SQL).

Experience with AI-assisted software development tools and ability to lead team adoption including validation of AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.

Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), agile methodologies including CI/CD, and security/resiliency in software engineering.

Experienced in financial services IT systems and able to navigate complex enterprise environments with practical cloud native development experience.

Demonstrated leadership in integrating AI-assisted tools responsibly within engineering workflows including coaching teams on data sensitivity and secure practices.

Proven ability to drive operational stability through automation and proactive issue remediation alongside vendor/technical evaluations.
