Staff Software Engineer, Platform & Infrastructure

Architect, code, and operate Okta's next-generation internal CI/CD platform using Go and Python to enable rapid, high-quality software delivery.

Leverage deep Kubernetes expertise to orchestrate large-scale, ephemeral build, test, and deployment workflows across multi-cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) environments.

Lead platform innovation and scaling efforts to reduce distributed compute job durations from hours/days to minutes, while mentoring engineers and setting technical direction.

5+ years of professional software engineering experience.

Strong coding skills in Go (Golang) and/or Python with proven experience building and maintaining complex systems.

Deep practical experience with Kubernetes including pods, operators, scheduling, and networking.

Proven experience architecting or significantly scaling CI/CD pipelines as a platform, along with cloud expertise across AWS, GCP, and Azure.

Experienced in building scalable internal developer platforms emphasizing CI/CD tooling and multi-cloud orchestration.

Hands-on expertise in Kubernetes and container ecosystems (Docker, container registries), with a platform mindset focused on internal engineering customer experience.

Capable of leading complex, cross-functional technical initiatives and mentoring engineers at a senior level.
