Senior Manager of Software Engineering- SDET

Own and define the enterprise-wide test automation and quality engineering strategy aligned with business and engineering goals.

Lead and mentor global Quality Engineering teams across multiple regions, driving adoption of AI/GenAI-powered testing practices and performance engineering (load, stress, scalability).

Partner with senior leadership to embed quality in the SDLC, establish quality metrics/KPIs, and act as technical authority on complex production performance and quality risks.

5+ years applied software engineering experience with 2+ years leading technical teams in software testing/quality engineering domains.

Hands-on expertise with Rest Assured (API automation) and Playwright (UI/E2E automation) at scale.

Experience driving AI-augmented testing transformation and performance testing using tools like JMeter.

Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python and experience with CI/CD, DevOps, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), and microservices architecture.

Experienced leader in quality engineering with proven ability to scale automation and performance frameworks across multiple teams or business units.

Familiar with enterprise governance for AI-assisted development and responsible AI practices embedded in engineering workflows.

Strategic collaborator comfortable presenting to senior/executive leadership and influencing quality strategy and engineering processes.
