Jr/ Sr Software Engineer- 5G RAN Protocol Developer L1/L2- Tieto Tech Consulting ( m/f/d)

Lead design, development, and testing of 5G features focused on L1/L2 protocol layers.

Mentor and guide junior developers, conduct code reviews and review technical artifacts to ensure quality and standards.

Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize algorithms and protocols aligned with 3GPP standards and improve architecture and development processes.

5+ years experience in eNB/gNB software development with expertise in 4G/5G radio L1/L2 or Baseband software.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Electronics, Computer Science, or related branches (B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech).

Strong proficiency in C and C++ programming on GPP and ASIC architectures and deep understanding of 3GPP LTE and NR radio access protocols.

Experience with Linux OS, DPDK, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Spinnaker), version control (Git, Gerrit), and agile methodologies.

Experienced in systemizing and optimizing 5G protocol software with demonstrated leadership in development and testing.

Comfortable with hands-on coding, algorithm design, and performance optimization within 3GPP radio access standards.

Able to work cross-functionally with a focus on mentoring and improving process quality and technical documentation.
