About This Role

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for AWS using Java, Spring Boot, Salt, and Terraform.

Build and evolve RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems ensuring operational excellence including monitoring, incident response, and performance optimization.

Leverage AI-assisted development tools throughout the software lifecycle while participating in architecture discussions and mentoring junior engineers.

Minimum Requirements

5+ years of professional experience in software engineering.

Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot for backend development.

Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools Salt and Terraform for AWS.

Experience with cloud-native systems, RESTful APIs, microservices, and container orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experienced in integrating AI-powered development tools into coding, testing, debugging, and code reviews with a focus on quality and security.

Capable of operating in Agile/Scrum environments with involvement in production support and on-call duties.

Has deep understanding of distributed systems focusing on scalability, reliability, and secure design principles.
