Manager, Data Science - Analytics 1

Lead the Shipping Analytics function at eBay, partnering with Shipping business, product, and engineering teams to drive data-driven decision making and customer-centric innovation.

Own the end-to-end analytics roadmap for Shipping, including opportunity sizing, hypothesis generation, experimentation, and impact evaluation.

Build and scale AI-enabled analytics systems and advocate for data democratization through scalable pipelines and self-serve tools.

6-9 years experience in product analytics, data science, or rigorous analytics roles; at least 2 years leading analytics teams.

Strong expertise in SQL, Python, and AI applications development.

Solid foundation in statistics, data science fundamentals, and hypothesis testing.

Work Experience Required: 6-9 years in relevant analytical roles, 2+ years in leadership roles.

Experience leading analytics in cross-functional, matrixed environments combining business, product, and engineering partnerships.

Demonstrated ability to design and deploy AI-enabled analytic tools and experimentation frameworks.

Strong skills in translating complex data insights into narratives that influence senior executives and guide strategic decisions.
