Design, develop, test, debug, and implement medium to large software enhancements and solutions within Charles River’s business and technical domains.
Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Managers to translate complex business requirements into sustainable software; participate in product architecture design within team scope.
Provide L3/L4 technical support for production issues, participate in agile development processes, code reviews, and mentor junior engineers when required.
Minimum Requirements
8+ years professional software engineering experience in core and enterprise Java including concurrency, multithreading, JDBC, and web services.
5+ years designing and developing highly transactional, event driven, concurrent systems; minimum 2 years in financial services domain with OMS and EMS exposure.
Proficiency in Java and Spring-based applications; knowledge of Python, SQL, JavaScript; experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD tools (Terraform).
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent; strong written and verbal communication skills.

Demonstrates a solid understanding of cloud-native architectures, container orchestration, and modern data platforms, enhancing delivery in complex environments.
