Revenue Accountant

Own and execute the monthly commission accounting process including accruals, capitalization, amortization, reconciliations, and variance investigations.

Support cost of revenue monthly and quarterly close processes, including allocations, flux analysis, reconciliations, and completeness checks.

Provide backup for revenue contract accounting reviews and maintain audit-ready documentation and controls for commissions, revenue, and cost of revenue.

Professional accounting qualification such as Chartered Accountant or CPA preferred.

1–3 years of experience in accounting, audit, financial reporting, or related finance role with exposure to month-end close and reconciliations.

Working knowledge of US GAAP; exposure to ASC 606, commission accounting, revenue, or cost of revenue is advantageous but not mandatory.

Location requirement: Hybrid role with 4 days per week onsite in Bangalore office.

Experienced in applying accounting standards to complex sales commissions and revenue recognition processes in technology or fast-growth companies.

Detail-oriented operator who can manage accounting processes end-to-end from source data to complete, audit-ready close deliverables.

Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with Sales Operations, Payroll, FP&A, and external auditors to resolve data and process issues and improve automation workflows.
