Staff Engineer, Platform R&D (Luke)

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable production services within Netskope’s platform infrastructure.

Lead tactical and strategic infrastructure and product initiatives including architecture and management of complex computing systems.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship across teams, influencing best practices and technology trends.

12+ years experience in designing, building, and managing complex computing systems including 1-2 years as Senior Staff Software Engineer or Lead Engineer.

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent education plus 5+ years related work experience.

Strong knowledge of *NIX-based operating systems internal architecture and design.

Demonstrated ability to build production-grade distributed and scalable services and to mentor others in technology evaluations and implementation.

Experienced in operating within distributed workforce environments and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

Proficient in modern cloud, virtualization technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP) and automation/CI/CD tools.

Able to communicate effectively across engineering and QA teams and serve as a subject matter expert on platform products and infrastructure.
