Provide technical support for process control systems focusing on alarm management and system performance enhancements in complex processing facilities.
Support implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of alarm systems to ensure safety, reliability, and operational excellence.
Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Operational Excellence teams to maintain compliance with alarm management standards and drive practical solutions using data and engineering judgment.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation & Control Engineering from an AICTE-approved university.
6–14 years of control systems engineering experience in refinery projects or similar hydrocarbon processing facilities.
Hands-on experience with Honeywell TDC3000 / TPS Experion systems and Yokogawa CENTUM VP, including control logic changes, testing, validation, and management of change processes.
Prior hands-on experience in alarm management in refinery or similar process environments with strong troubleshooting capabilities.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in alarm philosophy, alarm performance monitoring, and alarm improvement or rationalization in complex process environments.
Capable of root cause analysis for control system/process issues and proposing sustainable technical solutions.
Familiarity with Functional Safety and SIS lifecycle activities (TÜV certification is an advantage) and able to engage in PHA/HAZOP and safety standards compliance.
