Provide second line application support for trading platforms critical to investment management business users, focusing on incident resolution and root cause analysis within SLA.
Drive production stability through problem and change management, including participation in application releases, infrastructure changes, and disaster recovery activities.
Perform operational monitoring tasks, ensure communication with stakeholders, manage shift handovers, and implement continual improvements via automation or process changes.
Minimum Requirements
2-5+ years of relevant industry experience, including at least 2 years in a production services role supporting IT applications.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in MSc, BE, BTech, MCA or equivalent from a reputable university.
Experience in financial domain (investment banking/wealth management) and working with multi-cultural, geographically dispersed teams.
Hands-on experience with Oracle databases (SQL), Unix platforms and shell scripting, C#/Java/J2EE applications, and enterprise messaging (preferably MQ Series).
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience supporting trading and order management systems including knowledge of overnight batch processes and electronic trading protocols like FIX.
Familiarity with batch scheduling tools (Control-M, Autosys), DevOps and Agile methodologies, and production failover/disaster recovery.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with ability to work across global shifts and effectively communicate with diverse business and technical stakeholders.
