Assistant Manager - Procurement

Lead and coordinate tactical procurement operations ensuring high-quality purchase transaction processing and contract management.

Provide quality assurance, perform transaction validation, and maintain compliance across procurement processes including requisitions, contract workspaces, purchase orders, invoices, and catalogs.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives, support procurement transformation, and manage team workload, coaching, and escalation to achieve SLA adherence and operational excellence.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification required.

Minimum 9+ years of relevant procurement experience including tactical buying, contract administration, or procure-to-pay functions.

Proven experience in team coordination, quality review, and handling escalations in a high-volume procurement environment.

Advanced working knowledge of SAP Ariba and strong understanding of procurement controls, policies, and exception management.

Experienced procurement professional with hands-on tactical buying and process quality assurance expertise in a global or shared-services setting.

Strong operational leader with ability to manage and prioritize workload, coach team members, and maintain high transaction accuracy under SLA constraints.

Analytically skilled with project management and continuous improvement experience, able to influence cross-functionally without formal authority.
