Monitor and investigate cloud application security alerts using Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps following defined CSOC processes.
Perform alert triage, initial investigations, and support containment and remediation activities involving risky cloud apps and suspicious cloud access.
Escalate complex/high-risk incidents to senior specialists and contribute to policy tuning, playbook maintenance, and post-incident reviews.
Minimum Requirements
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps (MDCA) is mandatory.
2 to 4 years of cybersecurity experience including SOC operations, cloud security, or security monitoring roles.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or Engineering.
Certification SC-200: Microsoft Security Operations Analyst preferred.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in SOC processes with strong operational exposure to cloud security incident investigation and escalation.
Proficient understanding of cloud SaaS risks, user activity monitoring, and integration with Identity, Endpoint, and Email Security events.
Capable of supporting audit/compliance activities and improving detection through alert refinement and policy tuning.
