Own and execute the full user research process for Radar systems products including sensor fusion, tracking, and phased array antenna workflows.
Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to identify user pains, analyze workflows, and influence product strategy and design decisions.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate user research insights into AI-enhanced technical software products and monitor outcomes post-launch.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree with 6 years professional experience, or Master's with 3 years, or PhD or equivalent experience in STEM fields such as Aerospace, Electronics, Psychology, HCI, or Computer Science.
Experience with various user research methods including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and card sorting.
Familiarity with research and collaboration tools like UserZoom, OptimalWorkshop, Morae, Miro.
Knowledge of generative AI tools, prompt engineering, human-AI interaction principles, and ability to translate user feedback into product requirements.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in user experience research for technical software products, preferably with exposure to Radar systems or related engineering domains.
Skilled at balancing AI automation and human control in product design, demonstrating responsible judgment regarding AI limitations and trust issues.
Collaborative operator comfortable working within cross-functional teams including software engineers and product managers to drive user-centered product development.
