Lead project planning and monitor progress for FLR and livelihoods initiatives in select Maharashtra districts.
Develop convergence mechanisms with public funds, government schemes, CSR, and other investors to raise funds.
Liaise with state forest and other line departments; guide proposal writing and support partners; participate in national and state level meetings.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 25 years of relevant experience; retired civil services professional preferred.
Prior work experience with central or state government mandatory.
Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Engineering, Management, or related fields.
Fluency in Marathi preferred; location requirement: Nagpur; commitment of 10 days per month; annual contract renewal based on performance.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Senior-level professional with extensive experience in government or similar public sector roles, preferably retired civil service.
Expertise in climate change, forestry, natural resource management, biodiversity conservation, forest commodities, or watershed management.
Strong network and negotiating skills to engage with government departments, investors, CSR foundations, and financial institutions.
