Develop and maintain BMS control software models using MATLAB/Simulink and Stateflow with focus on model-based software development and automatic code generation.
Lead verification and validation activities including MIL, SIL, and PIL testing strategies, test automation, and ensure test coverage and traceability.
Manage requirements analysis and traceability using IBM DOORS; perform static code and model analysis with tools like Polyspace, Parasoft, and Simulink Check, and develop automation scripts for testing and data processing.
Minimum Requirements
5–10 years of relevant experience in model-based software development for BMS or related domains.
Proficiency with MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, and Simulink Test Manager for software modeling, code generation, and testing.
Experience with BMS domain including battery monitoring, SOC/SOH estimation, balancing, protections, and control algorithms.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation, Control Systems, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related engineering field.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Strong hands-on expertise in model-based development with MathWorks tools including automated production code generation.
Deep understanding of BMS architecture and control software lifecycle including verification, validation, and requirements engineering.
Experience with embedded software development concepts, scripting in MATLAB and Python, and software quality tools (Polyspace, Parasoft).
