Lead clinical data science activities for assigned clinical studies, ensuring high-quality, analysis-ready data and timely quantitative insights supporting development decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across clinical, pharmacology, PSPV, data management, translational sciences, regulatory, and external partners to deliver reproducible and submission-ready data and analyses.
Implement modern data science practices including automation, reusable workflows, and AI/ML approaches while ensuring scientific rigor and regulatory compliance.
Minimum Requirements
PhD in statistics, biostatistics, data science, epidemiology, biomedical engineering, computer science, quantitative sciences, or related field with 5+ years relevant experience; or MS with 7+ years relevant experience.
Experience supporting quantitative analyses and data science in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare research, or regulated clinical development environments.
Proficiency in R and/or Python; working knowledge of SAS and SQL; familiarity with CDISC standards (SDTM, ADaM, Define-XML).
Work Experience Required: 5+ years (PhD) or 7+ years (MS) in relevant field.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in clinical trial design, drug development analytics, and interpretation across diverse data types including clinical, biomarker, real-world, imaging, and high-dimensional data.
Strong skills in statistical methods including longitudinal analysis, survival analysis, causal inference, simulation, predictive modeling, and uncertainty communication.
Operates effectively in cross-functional teams in regulated environments, balancing scientific rigor with timely delivery and proactive risk communication.
