Develop and maintain Battery Management System (BMS) control software models using MATLAB/Simulink and generate production-quality embedded code.
Perform verification and validation of BMS software including MIL, SIL, and PIL testing, test automation, and ensuring traceability between requirements and tests.
Conduct static code and model analysis, manage requirements using IBM DOORS, and develop automation scripts in MATLAB and Python to improve testing processes.
Minimum Requirements
5–10 years of relevant experience in model-based software development and BMS domain.
Proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, Simulink Test Manager, and IEEE standard code generation workflows.
Experience with IBM DOORS or equivalent requirements management tools and static code analysis tools (Polyspace / Parasoft).
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation, Control Systems, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related engineering discipline.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced with BMS-specific domains such as SOC/SOH estimation, battery balancing, and thermal management in automotive or energy storage contexts.
Familiarity with embedded software concepts, automotive communication protocols like CAN/CAN FD, and functional safety standards (ISO 26262).
Proficient in test automation, CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and comfortable working with production code generation using Embedded Coder.
