Design, develop, and optimize high-performance host software components and scalable infrastructure for distributed AI workloads across Qualcomm's AI accelerator portfolio.
Drive feature development, debugging, profiling, and performance optimization of software enabling efficient execution of large language models (LLMs).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including runtime, compiler, kernel, firmware, and hardware engineers to participate in software architecture, design reviews, and implementation planning.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of software engineering related work experience; OR Master's degree with 2+ years; OR PhD with 1+ year.
4+ years hands-on experience in Linux user-space software development, modern C++ (C++11/14/17), multi-threaded programming, API design, and IOCTL interfaces.
Proficiency in C, C++, and Python with experience in performance optimization and debugging.
Strong Git knowledge and familiarity with inter-process communication technologies such as gRPC and Protocol Buffers.

Experienced developer with deep expertise in Linux systems programming, distributed systems, and building large-scale software platforms for AI inference workloads.
Strong background in C++ software design and development, particularly in performance-critical environments.
Comfortable working in cross-functional teams including hardware and firmware engineers, with hands-on involvement in architecture, design, and debugging activities.
