Develop and maintain complex data pipelines and deploy APIs using Python, PySpark, Databricks, and SQL to support business optimization and strategy implementation.
Create custom statistical models and algorithms from scratch, using advanced analytics in AI, machine learning, and predictive modeling, applied mainly to commercial insurance and risk management.
Conduct research and provide data-backed insights on client risk areas to support consulting deliverables and new market-leading tool development.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields.
Minimum 4 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Science, AI research, or similar fields.
Hands-on expertise in Python, PySpark, SQL, complex SQL queries, and Databricks with medallion architecture.
Location: Must work from Pune office at least 3 days per week (hybrid work model).
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced individual contributor with strong programming skills in Python, PySpark, and SQL focused on data engineering and advanced analytics in risk and insurance domains.
Demonstrated ability to build client-oriented solutions with an understanding of risk modeling, inferential statistics, and insurance business context.
Comfortable working in hybrid onsite/remote setup with collaboration and communication skills to consult on complex financial and statistical analyses.
