Senior Engineer - Data Science

Develop and implement advanced AI, machine learning, and predictive models tailored to risk assessment in commercial insurance.

Create and deploy machine learning algorithms and statistical data models including time series forecasting, clustering, GLM/regression, and boosting techniques.

Serve as a data science expert within the organization, staying current with research and consulting on complex financial and statistical analyses.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.

0-2 years of experience in Data Science, AI research, or similar fields.

Hands-on expertise in Python (including pandas, numpy, matplotlib, streamlit) and Power BI; knowledge of SQL also required.

Experience or understanding of risk modelling, inferential statistics; knowledge of insurance contracts and risk business is a plus.

Practical experience in building and deploying ML algorithms for business or consulting solutions in risk contexts.

Strong quantitative and statistical analysis skills combined with effective communication for cross-team collaboration.

Comfortable working with both structured and unstructured data, deploying APIs, and creating data visualizations in Power BI or Excel.
