Own the roadmap, architecture direction, and delivery of Gravity Core Platform's foundational infrastructure managing tenant lifecycle, multi-tenancy, API gateway, identity/access management, and shared services.
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of backend/platform engineers including hiring, performance management, and career development while managing engineering execution (sprint planning, reviews, stakeholder communication).
Ensure platform reliability, security, and cost efficiency in a multi-tenant healthcare-grade environment (HIPAA compliance, encryption, private networking), and uphold engineering standards for critical infrastructure dependencies.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 10+ years in software engineering with at least 3 years managing engineering teams.
Strong hands-on experience with distributed systems, Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure (AWS and/or Azure).
Experience building or operating multi-tenant SaaS platforms, API gateways, or identity/authorization systems at scale.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced leader in platform or infrastructure teams responsible for uptime, reliability, and core infrastructure rather than just feature development.
Technical expertise in multi-tenant SaaS, microservices, event-driven systems, and healthcare data/security requirements (HIPAA).
Comfortable managing cloud-based scalable architectures with multi-cloud deployment models and cross-functional collaboration across product, security, and operations teams.
