Drive technical strategy and engineering excellence, including code quality, testing, security, and scalability of backend services.
Mentor and technically advise engineering teams, influencing cross-functional groups and elevating overall team technical capabilities.
Minimum Requirements
16+ years of software engineering experience with strong backend development and distributed systems architecture.
Extensive expertise in microservices, API design (REST, gRPC), SQL/NoSQL databases, caching (Redis, Memcached), and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
Hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies (AWS/GCP/Azure), Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; located in Bangalore with onsite work 3 days a week.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced technical leader with a track record of driving large-scale backend features and mentoring engineers across seniority levels.
Deep knowledge of scalable backend architectures and engineering best practices, including automated testing and observability tooling.
Familiarity with telecommunications domain and 3GPP standards is highly advantageous; comfortable working in a cross-functional, technical environment.
