Senior Software Engineer- Salesforce

Lead design, development, configuration, and deployment of digital Salesforce projects aligned with Caterpillar's digital strategy.

Drive application deployment focused on delivering business valuable features and maintain high-quality standards within the software engineering team.

Mentor and guide software engineers, establish best practices, and create structured application/interface code and documentation.

Minimum 7+ years of professional experience as a Salesforce Developer with multiple Salesforce certifications; Architect and Platform Developer 2 certifications preferred.

Experience working across at least three Salesforce major platforms such as Sales Cloud, CPQ, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or Communities.

Proficient in APEX, LWC, Visualforce, API programming, JavaScript, HTML, CSS/HTML5, and Salesforce integrations (SOAP, REST APIs, Middleware).

Experience with Agile or SDLC methodologies and supporting Tier 1 – Tier 3 teams; domain experience in manufacturing or automotive industries required.

Experienced in cloud transformation projects involving Salesforce platforms with a focus on holistic solutions and customer 360-degree view.

Capable of working independently with minimal supervision and leading teams through technical mentoring and best practices enforcement.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with proven ability to deliver enterprise-level Salesforce architectures and integrations.
