Principal Solutions Engineer

Serve as the technical expert during customer evaluations to identify and deliver business value through SingleStore solutions, focusing on Fortune 1000 accounts.

Partner with Account Executives to close new business and expand existing accounts by designing and deploying high-quality demos and Proofs of Concept (POCs).

Collaborate internally across product, engineering, marketing, and support teams to relay customer feedback and develop co-selling channels with partners.

Experience successfully selling enterprise database technologies or distributed systems.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or relevant technical field.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java, and strong knowledge of distributed databases and cloud/containerized environments including Linux and Kubernetes.

Ability to travel regionally and internationally; Fluency in English and regional languages.

Experienced in leading technical evaluations in complex enterprise sales cycles, particularly involving distributed database solutions with analytic and transactional capabilities.

Skilled at designing and executing POCs within existing customer environments to demonstrate technical value.

Comfortable working closely with sales teams and internal stakeholders to influence customer acquisition and account expansion strategies.
