Own development and maintenance of device drivers for high-speed interfaces including UCIe, PCIe, Ethernet, MIPI, DDR on SiMa.ai’s MLSoC platform.
Develop and maintain system-level libraries (buffer management, synchronization, logging) and optimize system power and performance.
Build and modify embedded Linux systems including Yocto and eLxr Debian; test and verify Linux drivers with virtualizers and emulators for pre- and post-silicon validation support.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science.
Minimum 8 years of experience in embedded software development, firmware, and boot code primarily on 64-bit ARM processors.
Hands-on experience developing device drivers for USB, MIPI, Ethernet, eMMC, UFS and working with embedded Linux (e.g., Yocto) or embedded RTOS (e.g., Zephyr).
Ability to work full-time, on-site in Bangalore, India.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in complex embedded software product delivery in high-performance, cross-functional teams across multiple geographies.
Skilled at writing and delivering drivers for high speed industry-standard interfaces (UCIe, PCIe EP/RC) and knowledgeable in SIG Certification processes.
Proficient in C/C++ with a strong track record in system level software optimization and pre-/post-silicon validation environments.
