Own end-to-end automation testing across 30+ microservices in the warehouse fulfillment chain covering picking, QC, packing, manifesting, and dispatch.
Implement event-contract testing on Kafka to validate producer/consumer correctness across asynchronous service interactions and prevent silent failures.
Scale and maintain automation frameworks including distributed test execution, containerized runners, CI/CD integration, performance/load testing, and chaos testing.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 2 years experience in automation/SDET roles focusing on backend API automation (REST and message-driven systems).
Proficiency in Java and test frameworks like TestNG/JUnit, RestAssured or equivalent.
Hands-on experience testing event-driven and Kafka-based architectures with strong SQL skills for data consistency validation.
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins/GitLab CI) and scaling test execution through parallelization and containerization.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in complex microservices environments with deep understanding of distributed system failure modes (idempotency, retries, eventual consistency).
Skilled in analytical testing approaches for large-scale, asynchronous, event-driven logistics or warehouse management platforms.
Collaborates closely with engineering leads on quality gates and architecture reviews; capable of mentoring and raising automation standards across teams.
