Own architecture, design, build and deployment of scalable technology solutions for Walmart’s Last Mile Delivery platform.
Improve engineering best practices including code quality, documentation, testing, and monitoring at scale.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other engineers, including estimating effort, identifying risks, and strategic oversight of product/team impacts.
Minimum Requirements
10+ years experience in design and development of highly scalable applications in product-based companies or R&D divisions.
5+ years experience building microservices using Java.
Strong knowledge of computer systems fundamentals, data structures/algorithms, SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, HBase, Cassandra, Oracle, PostgreSQL), and distributed systems design including scalability and fault tolerance.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related area with minimum 4 years software engineering experience, or 6 years software engineering experience without degree.
