Lead and manage a team delivering revenue recognition and related US GAAP accounting activities, including revenue accruals, fee reserve analysis, account reconciliations, and SOX controls.
Own end-to-end process re-engineering, standardization, and automation initiatives to improve accounting operations and controls globally.
Act as subject matter expert providing analytical support, issue resolution, and stakeholder communication for complex revenue accounting transactions.
Minimum Requirements
Master’s Degree in Accounting, Chartered Accountant (CA), or CPA/MBA-Finance with 12-14 years progressive experience in record-to-report (R2R) in major financial institutions.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards, with experience in building and maintaining control environments (SOX, RCSA).
Experience managing teams performing accounting operations including month-end and quarter-end close activities for revenue accounting.
Proficiency in MS Office (advanced Excel), knowledge of Oracle Financials and Hyperion Essbase; data analytics tools (Spotfire, Tableau, PowerBI, RPA) are a plus.
