Senior Manager Finance

Build and run the in-house finance function from scratch covering payroll, payments, monthly close, tax, and regulatory filings for US and Indian entities.

Set up scalable financial processes, controls, and systems including company cards, banking relationships, and intercompany reconciliation between US and India.

Provide accurate financial actuals, variance analysis, and support forecast modelling with scope to take on strategic financial planning and investor reporting.

7 to 10+ years in finance operations or controllership, including experience running finance function in startup or scale-up.

Hands-on experience with Indian payroll, monthly close, GST, TDS, RBI/FEMA filings and US payroll, book closure, and working with US tax advisors.

Working knowledge of intercompany accounting and transfer pricing between US parent and Indian subsidiary.

Experience managing external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors for statutory audit and tax compliance.

Operator-minded with a preference for fixing broken financial processes and strong communication to senior management about issues and solutions.

Detail-oriented with a meticulous focus on reconciliations, filing deadlines, and accuracy in accounts.

Systems-oriented and hands-on, adept at automating financial workflows and capable of building and managing a small finance team over time.
