Lead and execute load, stress, spike, and soak tests with tools like k6 and LoadRunner, including scenario modelling and test-data management.
Analyze and troubleshoot performance issues across full technology stack, monitor with tools like Splunk and Dynatrace, and provide performance risk assessments and recommendations to product teams.
Minimum Requirements
6+ years of experience in performance or reliability engineering within high-traffic, distributed systems.
Proficiency with performance testing tools such as k6, JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar.
Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, databases, event-driven systems, networking, and cloud-native architectures.
Experience with scripting/automation (Python, Bash, JavaScript), CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, SignalFx).
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in defining NFRs, SLAs/SLOs, workload modelling and able to translate performance insights into business/product outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to mentor and coach engineers and build autonomous high-performing teams focused on performance engineering maturity.
Comfortable operating across cloud-native environments including Kubernetes/AKS and skilled in capacity planning, synthetic monitoring, and resilience testing.
