Software Development Engineer II- Full Stack

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable full stack software services supporting Expedia Group's booking platforms.

Own end-to-end lifecycle of full stack features including operational support, monitoring, incident response, and incremental improvements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into system designs, APIs, and data models across front-end and back-end services, including AI/ML integration.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent experience.

2+ years of relevant professional experience

Proven experience owning full stack features/services through development to production support.

Proficiency in at least one modern programming language; experience with low-level system design, API design, and data modeling for microservices architectures.

Experienced in designing scalable, fault-tolerant full stack systems with strong API and data modeling skills.

Skilled in improving system performance, reliability, and operational excellence through metrics, observability, and automation.

Familiar with integrating AI/ML components into production full stack environments and adapting to evolving technologies and architectural standards.
