Manage general ledger accounting including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet) with supporting schedules and conduct variance analysis for management review.
Handle GL-related queries from various teams and coordinate with auditors for interim audits and SOX compliance efforts.
Minimum Requirements
4-7 years of experience in general ledger accounting, record to report (RTR), and financial reporting.
Commerce graduate degree required.
Strong understanding of GL accounting and RTR processes.
Preference for candidates based in Mumbai; shift timings between 3:30 AM and 6:30 AM with cab facility provided.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in managing end-to-end general ledger and month-end close in a corporate environment with interaction across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Comfortable working early morning shifts and handling audit coordination including SOX compliance.
Able to handle multiple GL-related queries across departments and provide clear financial analysis and reporting to management.
