Validate and test SAS software on Windows and Unix platforms with automation of deployment and test frameworks using tools like Jenkins, Python, Shell scripts.
Install, configure, and administer databases (Postgres, Oracle, MySQL, SAS) and operating systems (Windows, Unix/Linux) supporting SAS9 infrastructure and continuous deployment.
Minimum Requirements
2-5 years of relevant work experience.
Experience administering Windows and Unix operating systems.
Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, Shell scripting for automating deployment processes.
Knowledge and ability to install/administer databases like Postgres, Oracle, MySQL, SAS or related DBMS.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in validating and testing complex software systems, particularly large legacy products like SAS9.
Familiar with security concepts and enterprise security applications (e.g., IBM IVIA/WebSeal, SiteMinder, Integrated Windows Authentication).
Skilled in designing and implementing automated test plans and deployment automation in a continuous integration environment.
