Develop embedded software components for RTOS-based SDKs including low-level drivers, HALs, RTOS abstraction layers, BSPs, and demo applications.
Support post-silicon validation by creating validation test apps, bringing up first silicon, validating automotive peripherals, and automating lab and CI test execution.
Collaborate cross-functionally to align software with silicon capabilities, contribute to reference software and tooling, analyze/debug issues using emulators and silicon, and provide feedback for next-gen MCU architecture.
Minimum Requirements
3–6 years of hands-on experience in embedded systems software development.
Strong programming skills in C/C++ with basic assembly familiarity.
Experience with RTOS concepts and platforms (e.g., FreeRTOS, Zephyr, AUTOSAR OS).
Experience with debugging tools (OpenOCD, Segger J-Link, Lauterbach) and bring-up on real silicon or FPGA platforms.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in automotive embedded systems with knowledge of automotive interfaces/protocols like CAN, LIN, SPI, I2C, UART.
Comfortable working across hardware-software boundaries in safety-critical environments, contributing from ASIC bring-up to software validation.
Familiar with test automation, scripting (Python/bash), and version control (git), with interest or background in RISC-V architecture and safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262).
