Lead and manage verification and validation activities for embedded software and systems throughout the product lifecycle.
Define and execute test strategies including functional, integration, regression, performance, system, hardware-software integration, and cybersecurity testing.
Mentor V&V engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams ensuring compliance with safety and cybersecurity standards.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or related field.
Minimum 8 years experience in embedded software verification and validation with at least 3 years in leadership roles.
Proficiency in Embedded C/C++, Python, RTOS/Linux platforms, communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, UART), and test automation.
Onsite work required at Wabtec VKTP Bengaluru facility (5 days a week).
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in safety-critical embedded software domains, preferably railway rolling stock or industrial automation.
Strong expertise in cybersecurity testing and aligned with industry standards such as IEC 62443, NIST CSF, and safety certifications.
Operational focus on leading V&V teams, driving compliance with safety and cybersecurity standards, and managing cross-functional testing and integration efforts.
