Quality Engineer- Test Specialist

Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies and plans for data applications within the Investment Risk team, covering functional and non-functional requirements.

Create and execute functional and automated test cases for ETL workflows; log defects and collaborate with PMs and developers to prioritize and resolve issues.

Maintain and develop automation scripts primarily using SQL and Python; engage in team meetings to discuss progress, risks, and project delivery impacts.

7+ years of hands-on software testing experience, including automation of ETL workflows with open-source tools like numpy and pandas.

Proficiency in SQL for querying relational databases and writing test scripts.

Experience with Python programming for test automation.

Work Experience Required: 7+ years in software testing, especially ETL process automation.

Experienced in testing within investment finance or investment risk domain, understanding relevant business and data flows.

Strong technical skills in Python, SQL, and familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI for automated testing deployment.

Ability to analyze business requirements and user stories to derive test cases, with strong logical reasoning and problem-solving focus.
