Staff Software Development Engineer in Test

Accountable for test planning, validation, and driving testing activities for enterprise microservices features.

Develop and maintain manual and automated test cases integrated into CI/CD pipelines to ensure robust coverage and defect management.

Lead adoption of automated testing best practices, improve test cycles, reliability, and mentor team members on test engineering standards.

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent professional experience.

8+ years of professional experience testing enterprise software, preferably in Java/J2EE environments.

Hands-on experience with automated UI testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Karate), SQL, relational databases, and configuring test environments (application servers, Windows/Linux).

Work location: Pune (hybrid model, requires 2-3 days/week onsite, in-person interviews).

Experienced in testing cloud-native, event-driven microservices architectures hosted on AWS and skilled at collaborating closely with development teams for defect reproduction and resolution.

Proficient with manual and automated testing in complex enterprise software environments, with ability to drive improvements and mentor others.

Comfortable leveraging AI-assisted engineering tools for development acceleration, quality, and validation workflows.
