Sourcing Manager – Freight Component Global Sourcing

Own end-to-end sourcing strategy and execution for Freight Component exports from India across multiple commodities including Forging, Casting, Raw Materials, Electrical, and Electronics.

Drive continuous cost reduction, supplier capacity management, localization, and import substitution initiatives with a spend portfolio of approximately USD 30M and 600+ parts.

Manage supplier contracts, relationships, and performance metrics such as cost productivity, on-time delivery, quality, and supplier risk for global sourcing impact.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering mandatory.

10-12 years of experience in strategic sourcing with global sourcing and supplier development exposure.

Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Preferred but not mandatory: MBA in Supply Chain/EMBA and CPSM or equivalent certification.

Experienced in managing large global sourcing projects with complex commodities and multi-stakeholder influence.

Capable of driving supplier relationship management and contract negotiations to achieve cost, quality, and delivery targets.

Comfortable operating in cross-functional, global environments with a strategic focus on localization and import substitution.
