Lead Engineer - Platform (Special Projects)

Lead architecture and delivery of industry-specific solutions from customer problem definition to scalable production launch.

Design and build a reusable industry layer including configurable objects, workflows, templates, and integrations with platforms like Uber Eats, DoorDash, Stripe.

Lead and mentor engineering team, drive observability, performance, error handling, and collaborate with product and go-to-market teams to maximize adoption and impact.

7+ years backend or platform engineering experience with at least 2 years in technical leadership role.

Experience designing configurable, multi-tenant platforms such as metadata-driven data models, workflow engines, or templating systems.

Proven track record of shipping products or major features from 0 to production, including third-party integrations with OAuth, webhooks, data sync and error recovery.

Strong understanding of security, scalability, and data isolation in multi-tenant SaaS environments.

Engineer with strong product and customer focus who connects technical decisions to business outcomes.

Experienced in entering new domains quickly and translating them into technical designs.

Skilled in building and leading engineering teams toward delivering high quality, reliable, real-time event-driven industry workflows and integrations.
