Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM, EDR, firewalls, cloud, and identity systems to detect threats.
Lead investigations and manage end-to-end incident response for high-severity security incidents like phishing, malware, and data exfiltration.
Develop detection rules, conduct threat hunting using MITRE ATT&CK, and improve security monitoring and response capabilities, including DLP monitoring.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field.
Minimum 2+ years experience in SOC, incident response, or cybersecurity operations, preferably in financial services.
Proficiency in query languages/log analysis tools (e.g., KQL, SPL) and strong understanding of MITRE ATT&CK framework and common attack techniques.
Work Experience Required: Minimum 2+ years in relevant cybersecurity roles.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience in financial services cybersecurity operations is preferred.
Strong hands-on incident response skills including evidence collection and stakeholder communication.
Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex technical incidents to non-technical audiences.
