Design, build, and maintain control-plane services for network policy enforcement and segmentation across Kubernetes clusters and datacenters.
Develop integrations with SDN and CNI layers (e.g., Istio, Envoy, Calico, Cilium) and manage Linux networking primitives (iptables, nftables, routing, VXLAN).
Ensure software quality with unit/integration tests, CI/CD pipelines, observability, troubleshooting, and operational readiness in distributed cloud environments.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of software engineering experience in backend or systems engineering.
Strong programming skills in Go, Python, or similar, with experience building distributed services.
Strong Kubernetes fundamentals and hands-on experience building or operating related services and controllers; solid knowledge of TCP/IP, Linux, and container networking.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in designing and operating scalable network segmentation and security platforms in cloud-native distributed environments.
Proficient troubleshooting skills across Kubernetes, Linux networking, and distributed systems, able to participate in incident response and improve operational resilience.
Collaborative working style engaging cross-functional teams (Security, SRE, Cloud Platform) to deliver reliable and maintainable platform capabilities.
