Develop and maintain RTOS-based embedded software components including low-level drivers, HALs, and BSPs for automotive MCU platforms.
Lead post-silicon validation efforts by creating test applications, bringing up first silicon, validating peripherals (ADC, PWM, CAN, LIN, watchdogs), and supporting automated lab and CI testing.
Collaborate cross-functionally with architecture, hardware, safety, and tools teams to align software with silicon capabilities and provide feedback for next-gen MCU architecture improvements.
Minimum Requirements
3-6 years of hands-on experience in embedded systems software development.
Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming and familiarity with assembly language.
Experience with RTOS concepts and platforms like FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or AUTOSAR OS.
Experience debugging multicore systems using tools such as OpenOCD, Segger J-Link, or Lauterbach; knowledge of automotive protocols (CAN, LIN, SPI, I2C, UART); and experience in silicon or FPGA bring-up and validation.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced with RTOS-based software stacks and embedded driver development for automotive or safety-critical MCU platforms.
Skilled in post-silicon application verification and validation (AVV) including test automation, scripting, and complex system debugging.
Familiarity with automotive communication protocols and safety standards, and comfortable working across hardware and software teams to influence SoC product quality and roadmap.
